Annual Louisiana Brain Bee

Our annual Louisiana Brain Bee occurred on February 2nd, 2019. High school students from all around New Orleans came to Tulane’s campus to participate in the competition. They received a lab tour from Tulane professor, Dr. Laura Harrison, were able to see and hold brains through Dr. Hebert’s Neuroscience Teaching Lab, compete, and enjoy lunch with TUNA members and volunteers.

Congratulations to the top 5 finalists, and our winner who will be moving on to the National Brain Bee competition at Pennsylvania State University from April 12th-14th.
